Don’t we all dream about seeing a certain place or experiencing something for no real reason? Well, walking through lavender fields was definitely something I’d dreamt about for several years before making it there this July. If I had to describe it in one word, I’d call it… magical… or perhaps, breathtaking… unforgettable… one of a kind… You see what I mean
The whole weekend was simply sublime and blissful and I couldn’t recommend it strongly enough. When I got back home, the smell and the purple were still present all around me. I could see it, hear it, smell it. And a couple of days later, I wrote a poem clearly inspired by it all. It’s a true pleasure to share it with you. May it bring you some peace and joy.
Your purple smile is fascinating
Back at home, I am still longing for it
You looked at me once but I shall never forget it
You caressed my soul, opened my heart.
I’ll be dreaming about you
For as long as I’m dreaming
Hoping to see you again
For as long as I can.
I’m inhaling your sweetness
Embracing your shadows
You are walking within me
Building streets in my soul.
I am longing to see you
I can feel you within me
What a beautiful earth
When the grass is all purple.
What is life but some moments
When you are transported
Far above what is normal
To a place that’s all purple…

As you might already know, I’ve been doing quite a bit of theatre this year in addition to music. What sprang up in my mind out of nowhere came proved to be extremely enjoyable, inspiring and enriching.
And now I’m delighted to share with you that I got cast in my first commercial:-) I saw the casting call for it on Facebook and submitted my resume and pics.
The commercial was filmed for the Young Lions Film Competition by the amazingly talented team from Japan. This Competition is actually pretty cool! The challenge that the competitors face is having only 24 hours to film and edit a 60-second commercial. Every year the theme changes and this year’s theme was Women’s Rights (surprise surprise)…
Being part of this project was a blast and an amazing opportunity to learn and hone my skills! I was very curious what it was going to be like but the experience has exceeded all my expectations. I was portraying a bride and it was all filmed at a beautiful cathedral in France.

This story is yet another reminder that we should follow our instincts and let things unfold naturally.
I’d love to hear your stories about your first acting gigs and the lessons you’ve learnt since.
In the meantime, good luck with all your projects, stay positive and grateful no matter what, and love yourself! xxx

What a year it has been so far! The recording of my first album is going from strength to strength and in addition to that, I’ve started writing music for picture. It happened almost by accident but has now become part of my journey… Here is the first advert I’ve had the privilege to write the music for. Hope you approve;)
I’ll share a couple of other projects that I’ve worked on soon! May you have a blissful end of Spring X

What is the most important thing?
It sits within, and waits for answer
While we are busy doing things…
We have to run, to buy, to master.
At times we may decide to pause
And take a breath without a timer
The peace we feel is not long-lasting
As there are things we need to master.
So we get up and off we go
We can’t be late, can’t loose control
Can’t take things lightly, or let go
We run away, with each step faster.

Bonsoir everyone! Hope you had a blissful weekend full of joy, inspiration, beauty and love.
Here goes one of the poems I wrote recently, entitled The World Of Shadows. Hope you like it…
Break your chains, stand up straight
The real life is more than that
We all feel pain, we all feel lost
Yet our job is to evolve…
Break your chains, confront your pain
The shadows feared are not but fake
There’s more than this to real life
Open your heart, it will open your eyes!
Break your chains, and venture out
Your compass is that voice inside
One’s time is wasted in the past
The only place that counts is now!

Hello dear friends, I’m beyond delighted to share with you that I’ll be playing with the amazing and talented Jef Sicard at the beautiful Galerie Depardieu in Nice on Friday, April 29th. Jef Sicard is based in Paris and so it is an extra treat to be able to play with this virtuoso saxophonist, clarinettist and flutist. If you are based in or around Nice, join us for an evening of music, joy, and connection!
May the rest of your week be serene, peaceful and inspiring xxx

People keep saying I’m very courageous. And to be honest, it’s not something I can comment on. All I’m trying to do is listen to and follow my heart, and accept myself fully and lovingly… There are things that appear very scary and next to impossible… but if I feel that doing it is what’s right and true for me, I conquer my fear and go for it. I guess what helps one conquer the fear is faith, passion, determination, and humility.
As I was having breakfast on Sunday, a phrase popped up in my mind. I kept hearing “nothing to fear, nothing to fear, nothing to fear”…. As I finished my breakfast, I went to play the piano and the phrase kept repeating itself.
And so this poem was born:) You might have guessed its title…. Nothing To Fear…. I really hope it has some positive effect on you…
Nothing to fear
Got nothing to fear in this life,
When things are not clear
Breathe in and breathe out through your heart.
Nothing to fear
We all are so free we could fly,
But we cling to earth
Because we think sky is too far.
Nothing to fear
We really have nothing to fear,
What we fear the most will happen for all
We have no control but we have a choice.
To squander the life or give it the most,
To look for the fault or love and rejoice,
To make the mistakes or drown in regret,
To be ourselves or please those who vet,
To give and inspire or only to take,
To let yourself dream or limit yourself,
To learn and evolve or think that you know,
To see life as miracle or as a chore…
Nothing to fear
We really have nothing to fear,
So why not just live every moment so vast
As if it could be our last?

“Truth uttered before its time is always dangerous”. This quote by Mencius, a Chinese philosopher who is the most famous Confucian after Confucius himself, touched me deeply and instantly, and inspired this poem…
Premature Truth
Sometimes it’s what you say
Sometimes it’s when you say it
The truth is precious essence
But not when poured too soon
Away it’s chasing streams
Of tenderness, of magic
And leaving those consumed
Perplexed, and as naive
The mind of someone else-
A labyrinth of feelings
You want to play the game
But know that you can’t win
You just have to accept
Discern the way of wisdom
The pain you feel inside
Will leave you more divine

When the shopping malls are temples
When we can’t cease to consume
When the war is killing millions
We have lost the sight of you
When we scream instead of smiling
When we can’t cease to control
When we drift without a purpose
All we rob is our soul
When we stop to see the beauty
When we loose the sense of smell
When the joy is rare to visit
We’ve abandoned ourselves
When we don’t see we are worthy
When we don’t dare to be great
When we run in mental circles
We have traded faith for hell

Light-Ness
Your cracked-open heart is leaking no light
I might be naive but I’m no blind
The eyes are portrayal of miracles sought
I might be frustrated but love can’t be fought
The darkness of promises twisting my arms
The peace is escaping as fast as your love
I’m down on my knees, crying out loud
Begging one day the dark becomes light
How could one know what’s right and what’s wrong?
How could love last longer than just one night long?
I’m searching inside, perhaps that’s the key
No person on earth could feel better than me
