And we are finally there! :-))))) I’ve got the first two gigs booked!
It’s been just over a year since that career overhaul of mine: lawyer to singer…. I so wanted to start performing but it took some time for certain things to fall into place and it was about 2 weeks ago that my inner voice whispered “time to start doing gigs”… A couple of days later I was having lunch with my girlfriends at Tchekhov, a newly opened Russian restaurant serving delicious food, and Ludmila, the restaurant owner asked me if I would be interested, by any chance, to perform there some of the nights. She knew I was a singer songwriter. Thoughts do materialise don’t they?! And what’s really beautiful is that when one really knows their goals/dreams/destinations the Universe will do what it takes to make it all become reality. The problem, oftentimes, is simply not knowing exactly what it is that we want to do. Or feeling that we don’t merit it and that we won’t be able to deal with the success and so on…. I’ve been a victim of these poisonous thought patterns before and know too well what impact it can have on your life and your ability to realise your dreams! I hope that my songs will let people change their outlook on certain things in life….And what a better way to do that than a live show?! So I’m just over the moon that I will start performing and in the meantime I’m loving every second of the rehearsing process!
